At Clarity Homecare we offer you a solution to ensure the home care provided not only meets the needs for your loved-one but is also delivered by one of our friendly, trained, professional and well-matched Carers.
At Clarity Homecare we have an ever-growing network of offices throughout the UK. Each office delivers high quality care services in the familiar and comfortable surroundings of our customer’s own homes who are either privately funded, referred on behalf of Local Authorities or from the NHS.
Our senior management team have been working in care for over 26 years and have developed safe, stringent and robust policies and procedures to deliver large volumes of care across huge areas of the UK, safely, effectively and with quality care at their core.
Our goal is to ensure your family member can enjoy life in the comfort and familiar surroundings of their own home. With over 20 years’ experience, we have become a trusted extension to those family members already providing care. We do this by providing a range of Domiciliary care or, as it’s more commonly referred to, ‘home care’ services.
We offer you a solution to ensure the home care provided not only meets the needs for your loved-one but is also delivered by one of our friendly, trained, professional and well-matched Carers. The services can be used either on a short-term basis (such as your loved-one recovering from illness, returning from hospital or covering your holiday) or longer-term as their dependency becomes greater on other’s help and support.
We would recommend the following frequently requested services as areas to focus on for initial discussions with, not only us, but your loved-one.

If you are one of the millions of people in the UK who are effectively ‘unpaid’ carers, you may be visiting a family member as part of your busy daily schedule or perhaps have a relative living with you either temporarily or permanently.
It’s vital to have a break. You need time to look after yourself so as they don’t begin to resent the hugely valuable support you’re providing whilst, at the same time, feeling guilty about the prospect of leaving their loved-one for a period of time.
We realise how demanding care can be and the toll it can take on your other family relationships. To support you, we can provide you with a friendly, trained, professional and well-matched carer who you can rely on to take care of your family member or friend in your absence on a short-term basis. This then lets you take a short break, recharge the batteries, spend time with partner and family to strengthen those important family bonds all the time reassured and knowing that your loved-one is being well looked after by our carers.
You may want to consider Respite care as anything from one morning or afternoon a week to a 24-hour Live-In carer for an extended period. We would initiate a meeting with both yourself and your family member and go through your normal daily regime allowing us to make sure the important details are documented in the care plan.
Many families we work with have found that Respite care is a far more preferable solution than having to make arrangements for placing their loved-one in a care home. Whilst it may only be for a relatively short-term basis, the planning, upheaval, disorientation and unfamiliar surroundings this brings with such a move are often outweighed by the benefits of maintaining the ‘status quo’. Our solution allows the customer to stay in their own home and helps them keep their same familiar routines.
All our experienced and well-matched Carers undertake a training course which includes food hygiene and nutrition. This enables us to provide support and knowing what nutrition is required.
We can assist our customers going out to the shops, carrying bags and putting the groceries away at home or do the shopping without the customer being present to either get their weekly shop just the essentials. We can again incorporate these tasks within the agreed care plan.

With so many demands on our time nowadays, it’s not uncommon to feel guilty at not being able to fit everything in. This feeling may only be heightened when it means not spending time with members of your family who perhaps now live alone and could be some distance away. This, in part, helps to explain the high levels of requests we receive for our Companionship service.
We provide reassurance
You need to know they’re safe and well at those times you cannot be there. Our friendly, trained, professional and well-matched Carers can provide you the reassurance you need by spending time with your loved one. Whether that’s just for a chat, preparing a meal for them, taking them to the shops, supporting them in a new or existing hobby, helping with travel arrangements or accompanying them to an appointment, let us help to be there for them as an extension of your family.
We regularly see the positive impact that a companionship call has on our customers. People get tremendous health and mental stimulation from spending time with a familiar face on a regular basis who they look forward to seeing as part of their day.
Early indicator
Many family members we’ve worked with have found the Companionship service an extremely useful way of getting an early insight into how their loved-one’s future care requirements can be best planned. This is a very effective way of introducing the customer to additional services over a longer period of time thereby ensuring their care needs are more seamlessly introduced. This all makes for less of an adjustment whilst enjoying the familiar and comfortable surroundings of their own home.

It’s unrealistic to expect you or other family members to be able to provide your loved-one’s every meal during the course of the day. To support this popular request for support, we offer a personal service for food shopping and meal preparation.

Providing comfort and familiarity to a loved-one when their life is almost at an end is very important. We have a customer-centred approach to the care requirements in such instances which, when adding empathetic, trained and experienced carers to deliver the plan, helps reduce much of the anxiety and stress that you will be having to cope with at such a difficult time.
This is why the surroundings of the customer’s own home is the goal that we all work towards. Our End of Life, or palliative, care allows this to be achieved.
We aim to arrange End of Life care to start within 24 hours of your enquiry. If the customer is currently in hospital, our dedicated Care Managers can arrange smooth transition back home with the right amount of care in place to ensure the customer is made as comfortable as possible. You and your family members will have the reassurance that you will be supported during the end of life process.

You may have noticed your loved-one’s health has deteriorated quite rapidly or you’ve noticed their dependency is increasing beyond the existing levels of care provided. You’ll also know how beneficial it is for them to remain in the familiar and comfortable surroundings of their own home. In these instances, when an increase in the provision of care is required, the solution we can provide is for 24-hour Live-In Care which an increasing number of customers and their families are benefitting from.
By having a team of friendly, trained, professional and well-matched Carers available to provide care also reduces the need to consider a care home sooner than is perhaps necessary.
We can offer a Live-in care package solution where, subject to the level of dependency of the customer, we carefully match a care assistant who will be present in the home 24 hours per day.
How does it work in practice?
Due to the nature of Live-In care, with the Carer and customer living under the same roof, we can help you with identifying well-matched Carers by initiating a meeting with several members of the team. This provides you reassurance as well as getting to know the individuals to ensure you have something in common and feel comfortable around them. Together we will identify a main Carer who will spend their time with your loved-one. There will then be other team members in support to allow your main Carer time off.
Our Live-In Carers provide help in areas such as personal care, practical support, medication management, meal preparation and domestic chores. They can also accompany customers to any appointments they may have such as Hairdressers, Doctors or Hospital appointments.
