Home care in Ashford

A care worker in a navy blue uniform is sitting beside an older man with glasses who is wearing a light purple shirt. They smile and laugh together in a bright, sunlit room with large windows. The setting appears warm and welcoming, possibly a home or care facility, with a comfortable chair and a cup of tea in the foreground. The interaction conveys a sense of companionship, care, and positive connection.

Local home care in Ashford, so you can stay in the home you love

Ashford has always been a place built on community. Once a historic market town, it has grown into a busy hub while still holding onto that sense of people looking out for one another. Clarity Homecare has been part of the Ashford community for over seven years, supporting local people to live well at home.

Our carers provide care at home to help you carry on living independently and avoid the need to move into a care home. Whether you need a carer to visit once a week or someone to live in and be there whenever you need them, we can help. We also support people coming home from hospital or recovering from an illness, and we’ll put together a care plan around exactly what you need. Whatever your situation, you don’t have to figure it out alone, we’re here to help every step of the way.

What Ashford families say about us

★★★★★

My daughter has needed help with her care for almost a year now. Initially, it was only for night care but since July 2022 she has needed help in the mornings with personal care. Due to the complex disabilities, my daughter has she now has two carers to help with her wash and hoisting her into her wheelchair if she is getting up. She has a sore area on the upper right leg which I dress as per the district nurse’s instructions, she also has an area on the lower part of her leg which we have to watch carefully as she has had cellulitis recently which meant a stay in hospital. With all the care that my daughter needs I have found the carers willing and respectful, they usually try to communicate with her as she loves to chat with people. I find the office manager very helpful especially if I need to make any changes to the calls.

★★★★★

I have only been with Clarity Homecare for a few days, but the staff and carers are really lovely. They are the best care company I have ever had. The carers are so caring and supportive with everything, and if I need to ring the office, the staff are really lovely as well.

Registered Manager

My journey in care started 13 years ago, inspired by my mum. She worked in care for years and always spoke with joy about helping others. That’s what sparked my passion. I started as a home carer and worked my way up from there.

I’ve supported people with dementia, palliative care, rehabilitation and more. I’m family-focused, and I genuinely love what I do. For me, care isn’t just a job. It’s about making a real difference to the people I support every day.

Care Manager

My journey in health and social care started over 3 years ago. I started out as a home carer, worked my way up to care coordinator, and I’m now a care manager. I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, and I’m working towards my Level 5 in Leadership and Management.

I’ve supported people living with dementia, learning disabilities, complex health conditions and more. I genuinely care about the people I work with and take pride in building real relationships with clients and their families. Good care, to me, is about making every person feel safe, respected and heard.
